Vattenfall and SSAB have signed a letter of intent regarding deliveries of fossil-free steel produced with HYBRIT technology. SSAB will, using input material from the HYBRIT pilot plant in Lulea, deliver fossil-free steel to Vattenfall, to use in its own operations.
