Vattenfall has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Norwegian Aker Carbon Capture to accelerate the evaluation of future carbon capture plants in Sweden and Northern Europe. Triodos Bank has topped the Clean Energy Pipeline Global League Table for number of clean energy deals in 2019, financing 73 deals worth a total $630 million (USD) across Europe. New UK space projects to boost global sustainable development receive £3.4 million cash boost

On World Humanitarian Day, the UK Space Agency announced £3.4 million of new funding for 10 leading-edge projects that back UK academics using space to tackle global development problems – from the spread of malaria to human trafficking and forced labour.
