Sir Tony Robinson and Amanda Mealing join line up at WaterAid’s Christmas Carol Concert at St Paul’s Cathedral

This year WaterAid is inviting everyone to soak up the magic of Christmas at a carol concert in the world-renowned St Paul’s Cathedral in London.

Held on Tuesday 6th December 2022, it is set to be an unmissable evening, featuring readings, poems, carols and performances.

Actor Sir Tony Robinson and actress Amanda Mealing will be doing readings and will be joined by the iconic Choir of St Paul’s Cathedral, the City of London Sinfonia Orchestra, one of the world’s leading orchestras. Singing will be brit award nominee and Opera Singer Carly Paoli, with all music curated by Director of Music Andrew Carwood MBE.

All proceeds will go towards furthering WaterAid’s vision to provide clean water and sanitation to everyone, everywhere.

Actor and broadcaster Sir Tony Robinson said;

“Christmas is a time for reflection and realising how lucky we are in the UK in a thousand ways, not least being able to access clean water at the turn of a tap. This isn’t the case for millions of people around the world who’ll go without clean water this Christmas, risking disease, health and reaching their full potential. I am thrilled to be reading at WaterAid’s Christmas Carol concert. I can’t wait to soak up the festive atmosphere, while helping raise essential funds for vulnerable communities.”

Tickets for this event range from £20-£120 and can be purchased here: https://tickets.barbican.org.uk/choose-seats/1014001. Book now to avoid disappointment.
