Big Issue Foundation is excited to announce their foray into streaming for good – Side Quest – which aims to raise £5,000 in September to improve digital literacy for Big Issue vendors. The Big Issue Group and Big Issue Foundation report over £400,000 dispersed to over 1,600 vendors as result of urgent appeal to support vendors in wake of Covid crisis

The Big Issue Group and The Big Issue Foundation have issued an update on their appeal launched in response to the Covid-19 crisis whilst Big Issue vendors have been unable to sell on the streets. The organisations, who have worked closely together since lockdown was announced, have today confirmed that to date The Big Issue staff have supported over 1,600 vendors across the UK and over £400,000 has been dispersed in the form of food vouchers, meter top-ups and other emergency aid to support vendors through this crisis.
