Vattenfall inaugurates new heat plant Carpe Futurum in Uppsala, Sweden

Vattenfall’s new biofuel heat plant Carpe Futurum in Uppsala, Sweden, has now been inaugurated and taken into operation. The new plant will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 200,000 tonnes per year, compared with when peat and other fossil fuels were used.
