34 million hours of volunteering time up for grabs this winter

Charities could tap into millions of hours of volunteering time over the next few months according to research by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). The survey shows 1 in 10 people (9%) said they would be very likely to volunteer a day of their time to a local charity, group, or club if they were personally asked. CAF launches new fund for small charities focused on social equity

More than £1bn has once again been entrusted to Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) from donors, just above the record-setting amount in response to the pandemic the previous year. Employees have donated more than £1.6 billion to charitable causes through the Charities Aid Foundation’s payroll giving service.
