INGOs sign pledge for more equitable aid system by 2030

Some of the world’s biggest aid and development organisations have signed up to a far-reaching set of commitments to create closer partnerships with local and national organisations in a drive to shift more power, decision-making and money to the places worst affected by crisis and poverty. Women to be at forefront of response to climate crisis, says Christian Aid

Speaking out on international women’s day, international development charity Christian Aid has warned women are disproportionately impacted by climate change and is calling for women’s “strengths, knowledge and capabilities” to be at the forefront of the climate response.
