Corporate Leaders Groups top InfluenceMap ranking on climate policy engagement

InfluenceMap has recently launched an interactive platform tracking influencing efforts of companies and industry associations on key files within the EU Green Deal’s landmark initiative of the ‘Fit for 55’ package. The Corporate Leaders Groups were awarded an “A” ranking for their ongoing policy engagement for climate action, topping the industrial association list. InfluenceMap ranked 70 companies and 30 industry associations headquartered in the EU based on how they have supported or opposed the advancement of more ambitious climate action. New tool launched to help business diagnose hurdles to implementing nature-based solutions

 A new diagnostic tool from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) has been launched to offer practical guidance for adoption of nature-based solutions (NbS). The open access tool has been designed after consultation with more than 35 leading companies, including ASDA, Coca-Cola, Iceland, Mars, Nestle, Pepsico, Primark, Sainsbury’s and Unilever. The EU Commission today presented its new Sustainable Finance Package which includes plans to bring financial institutions along on its goal to create a carbon neutral continent by 2050.
