Comcast NBCUniversal Announces $2.475 Million in Unrestricted Grants to 81 Nonprofits

On Aug. 16, Comcast NBCUniversal and NBCUniversal Local awarded $2.45 million to 81 nonprofit organizations through NBCUniversal’s Local Impact Grants. The nonprofit organizations, located in 11 communities that are served by NBC and Telemundo owned stations, are helping to improve their local communities. Echoing Green have announced a $2.5 million commitment from Comcast NBCUniversal to the organization’s $50M Racial Equity Philanthropic Fund. The investment marks the largest corporate contribution to the Fund to date.
