Leading UK humanitarian aid charity, Human Appeal, recently announced the launch of a new subsidiary, The Waqf Fund, to increase long-term charitable funds for its worldwide projects. Waqf, an Islamic endowment that involves the permanent transfer of wealth for a charitable purpose, is a common form of good deed recommended in Islamic teachings (Sunnah practice). New Research highlights significant BAME contribution as the backbone of UK Volunteering

Human Appeal, one of the UK’s fastest growing NGOs, recently released new research which highlights the scale of BAME [i] contributions to the UK volunteer community. Humanitarian NGO Human Appeal has partnered with FareShare, the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste, to help families struggling with the cost of living crisis in the UK.
