Schneider Electric and long-time supplier Microplásticos have announced joint efforts to accelerate decarbonization efforts. Microplásticos, a plastics manfucturer operating in Portugal and Poland, has publicly announced they will reduce their absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 88% by 2023, and will procure 100% renewable electricity by 2023 with the goal of being Net-Zero by 2030. In addition, Schneider Electric launched ‘The Zero Carbon Project’ to partner with its top 1,000 suppliers to halve their operations’ CO2 emissions by 2025.
