The Healthcare Workers’ Foundation (HWF), the charity started by and for healthcare workers in the midst of the pandemic, has partnered with global environmental organisation Parley for the Oceans (Parley), for the second time to support healthcare workers in the Maldives. The two have joined forces again to donate PPE – including recycled visors, hospital gowns, masks and goggles – to hospitals based in the Maldives, providing enough equipment to support all of the hospitals and covid facilities across the entire country. The Big Issue extends PPE supply to vendors across the UK with the support of ViraxCare

ViraxCare, the PPE distribution platform of Global Care Capital, has provided over 80,000 disposable 3-ply masks and over 10,000 pairs of gloves to Big Issue vendors across the country. We Are F, the social media and creative boutique for female-founded brands, has connected a team of NHS GPs with the PPE they urgently require – following a campaign to raise funds for the NHS.
