Just Eat donates 1.2m meals through winter meal appeal

Since launching their annual Meal Appeal in 2020, Just Eat has raised enough funds to provide over 1.2m meals to those in need.  Now in its third year, the initiative encourages customers to raise money for Just Eat’s charity partners, FoodCycle and Social Bite to support low-income families and people facing food hunger, loneliness and homelessness. Social Bite has teamed up with Malala and UNICEF to launch a global sleep out movement

Malala Yousafzai, the youngest ever Nobel Peace Prize winner, visited Edinburgh yesterday marking an announcement that her organisation, Malala Fund, will be working with Social Bite’s Josh Littlejohn MBE on an international collaboration, which aims to support thousands of homeless and displaced people around the world.
