Sodexo celebrated the first day of spring 2023 with news that it has increased the amount eligible employees can apply for in its Cycle to Work salary sacrifice scheme to £3,000 to help them buy a new bike, accessories and safety equipment tax-free. Sodexo hits £2 million milestone for apprenticeship levy gifting

Sodexo has now gifted £2 million of its apprenticeship levy to support a number of small companies and not-for-profit organisations across the UK. Sodexo took the decision in 2019 to ‘gift with purpose’ a portion of the apprenticeship levy it pays. Sodexo reports carbon emissions cut by a third

Sodexo UK & Ireland has announced that it has seen a 33% reduction in its scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions since its baseline year of 2017, equating to over 300,000 tCO2e. Veganuary: Sales of vegetarian and vegan dishes up again in 2022, says Sodexo

To mark Veganuary 2023, Sodexo has published its food sales data showing a year-on-year increase in the proportion of vegetarian and vegan meals sold across 476 of its UK and Ireland client sites. During 2022 (January to November), 10% of all meals sold were vegetarian or vegan, compared to 8% during the same period in 2021.
