A collaboration between Sodexo UK & Ireland and social enterprise and educational charity Enactus UK & Ireland has led to the introduction of two new tasty dishes developed by refugees to the menus at Coventry University. Student entrepreneurs from Aston University participated in the Action4Impact incubator project in 2023 pitching their Chance for Change cookbook. Sodexo UK & Ireland reports it is ahead of schedule on Net Zero 2040 roadmap

Sodexo UK & Ireland have announced that it has achieved a 37% reduction in absolute greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across scopes 1, 2 and 3, compared to its baseline year of 2017. This reduction represents the removal of approximately 400,000 tonnes of carbon (tCO2e) from its footprint at 31 May 2023. Sodexo UK and Ireland is proud to announce that Sharon McConnell, from Northern Ireland, was joint winner of Sodexo’s global Sustainable Chef Challenge.
