Global carbon ratings agency BeZero Carbon is evaluating Article 6.2 projects under the Paris Agreement on behalf of the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN). The mandate sees BeZero provide independent, project-level risk assessments for carbon credits authorised under Article 6.2 – the UN mechanism that allows countries to trade emissions reductions to meet their climate targets.
