UKRI publishes 2021 gender pay gap report

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) has published its 2021 gender pay gap report. This is the third annual report, which highlights the percentage difference between average hourly earnings for men and women across the organisation. Data shows that the mean gender pay gap across UKRI has slightly decreased by 0.1 percentage points: 10.3% in 2020 10.2% in 2021. Major project to boost flexible plastic packaging recycling launches

FlexCollect, the UK’s largest collaborative project to support the collection and recycling of flexible plastic packaging, has launched with UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) support. The multi-million-pound project was announced on 19 May 2022, will pilot household collections of flexible plastic packaging waste, to significantly increase recovery and recycling rates.
