WaterAid launches collection of unique Christmas e-gifts

WaterAid has launched a collection of unique Christmas e-gifts that will help transform lives across the world with clean water and decent toilets.  The international charity’s gifts provide a meaningful and life-changing alternative to the average present. They include a £60 water tank that holds 500 litres of water, which could help improve the health of an entire community as well as supporting farming initiatives. Actor Tobias Menzies launches WaterAid campaign in new role as ambassador for the charity

WaterAid have announced that actor Tobias Menzies (The Crown, Outlander, and Game of Thrones) has become an ambassador for the international charity.  The announcement comes ahead of the launch of the third season of The Crown, which will be available on Netflix from 17 November. Tobias will be seen as Prince Philip alongside Olivia Colman who plays Queen Elizabeth II. Walsall student joins WaterAid in ground-breaking scheme

Zainab Alam, 19 from Walsall, has become one of the UK’s first students enrolled in a degree dedicated to social change. Zainab will split her time between studying at London’s Queen Mary University and working as an apprentice at international charity WaterAid.  It was the problems of local gang violence and drugs that inspired Zainab to seek a career in the charitable sector.
