The Creative Engagement Group takes on Three Peaks Challenge in support of Child.org

A team from The Creative Engagement Group (TCEG) have raised over £8,000 for Child.org after taking on the notorious National Three Peaks Challenge.

A total of 34 people from across the group set out to conquer the Three Peaks – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – after the idea came up via an employee suggestion scheme called Penny for Your Thoughts. It is part of an initiative to take on a challenge each year, reflecting TCEG’s passion for supporting charities.

Penny Swann, Purchase Ledger Manager at TCEG and the driving force in organising the challenge, said: “You know you’re working with good people when 33 of your colleagues agree to give up their weekends to attempt the frankly ridiculous feat of scaling the country’s three tallest mountains in just 24 hours. I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve achieved and the money we’ve raised in to help what is a really worthwhile cause. Thanks to everyone who supported us and donated.”

Child.org supports community-led development projects with the aim of making sure more children across the world grow up healthy, safe and free to learn.
