Winners revealed in the first ever virtual CIPR Excellence Awards Ceremony

Engine Mischief were the big winners of the first ever virtual CIPR Excellence Awards ceremony as they took away a hattrick of awards including for the highly contested ‘Not-for-Profit Campaign’. The ceremony – headline sponsored by 3Gem – held on Twitter celebrated the stand-out agencies, teams and individuals from the last 12 months.

This year’s awards featured 29 categories, including two new accolades for ‘Social Purpose Campaign’ and ‘Employee Experience or Engagement Campaign’.

Joining Engine Mischief in their success was Octopus Group and Hectare Agritech who won two awards for their ‘Tudder: Tinder for Cows’ campaign in the ‘Corporate and Business Communications Campaign’ and ‘Best Use of Media Relations’ categories.

Elsewhere, OVID Health, a specialist in healthcare PR, was crowned ‘New PR Consultancy of the Year’, Direct Line Group was named ‘In-House PR Team of the Year’ and WA Communications was awarded ‘PR Consultancy of the Year’.

This showcase of great PR talent through the CIPR Excellence Awards highlights just how much can be done with strategic, creative, innovative and impactful programmes that drive behaviour.  If ever there was a time when communication matters most – to understanding, alignment, support, engagement and sustainable change, it’s now. The talent and know-how are clearly there to help re-energise and renew.

This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and bring some positive news to the industry. I would like to congratulate all those shortlisted and especially the winners.
