Greene King, the UK’s leading pub retailer and brewer, is announcing on Stop Food Waste Day, it is the first pub company in the UK to achieve the Carbon Trust’s Zero Waste to Landfill Standard. It has achieved this by diverting all its waste from landfill across all waste streams generated by its 1,700 managed pubs – from food waste to kitchen equipment. Vodafone UK and Barnardo’s launch ‘The Great British Tech Appeal’

Vodafone UK, with charity partner Barnardo’s, have launched ‘The Great British Tech Appeal’ and called on the public to donate pre-loved smartphones and tablets for redistribution to disadvantaged children, families and the charity workers who support them. Vodafone will cover all postage and packaging costs, and will provide three months’ free connectivity for every device distributed.
