Consumers’ healthy-eating choices wane as cost of living bites

The number of adults saying they are coping on their current salary has fallen 5.5% since pre-2020 lockdown, with only half of young adults and just under two-thirds of women saying they are coping on their current income. Vattenfall and St1 form a new partnership to produce a large volume of fossil-free aviation electro fuel on the Swedish west coast

Vattenfall and St1 have signed a Letter of Intent to develop a fossil-free value chain for production of synthetic electro fuel and the next step is to jointly conduct a feasibility study. The study aims at addressing the full value chain for production of electro fuel from offshore wind, starting 2029 and gradually growing towards the target of one million cubic meters. Pioneering renewable energy company targets £5m raise in new share offer

Thrive Renewables, which has been funding clean energy projects since 1994, has launched a crowdfunding offer in order to build new renewable energy generation and storage across the UK. Bloomberg Philanthropies Joins $1B USD Pledge to Protect 30 Percent of the Ocean by 2030

At the 2022 UN Ocean Conference, Bloomberg Philanthropies and eight philanthropic partners committed a collective $1 billion USD to support ocean conservation and the creation, expansion, and management of marine protected areas. This single commitment is roughly equal to all philanthropic giving for marine protected areas and habitat protection over the past decade and will help put ambitious ocean conservation goals within reach by supporting initiatives that help governments, and indigenous and local communities protect at least 30 percent of the ocean by 2030. New Poll Sheds Light on Florida and Texas Voters’ Stances on Anti-LGBTQ Policies

The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and mental health organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) youth, released new polling data today examining Florida and Texas voters’ perspectives on a number of anti-LGBTQ policies, including those that restrict access to gender-affirming care and those that censor school content.
