DuPont Commits to Set Science-Based Targets for GHG Emissions Reduction

DuPont recently announced it has committed to setting science-based targets to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a partnership between CDP, the UN Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Almost half of fleets are failing to plan for a net zero future

Only 53 per cent of commercial fleets have a ‘robust’ strategy for net zero transport, latest research from Bridgestone Mobility Solutions has revealed. According to the Keener to be Greener study, conducted among 300 fleet decision-makers, more than a third (34 per cent) also believe their current technology systems are insufficient to help them manage the environmental impact of their vehicles. Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index Interest Increases Globally

The number and diversity of companies that have applied to be included in the 2023 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) has risen sharply ahead of the September 30 deadline, Bloomberg announced today. Publicly traded companies voluntarily participate in the GEI, which analyses the performance of their diversity and equality policies compared to their peers. The 2022 GEI listing included 418 companies from 11 different sectors in 45 countries.
