Northern Trust has made $160 million in charitable contributions in the last decade, including $18 million in 2021 benefiting nearly 1,000 organizations globally, according to a Northern Trust’s 2021 Philanthropic Impact Report. Big Issue Invest reports £37 million of investment into social enterprises and charities at time of crisis

Big Issue Invest (BII) has launched its 2021-2022 Impact Report. The report revealed that the social investment arm of The Big Issue supported 138 social enterprises across the UK and had £37.5 million Assets Under Management (AUM) as of March 2022*. The report detailed how, in turn, those 138 social enterprises were able to support over 2 million customers across the UK in the same period. 92% of investments made by BII contribute to core solutions to poverty. British Airways, LanzaJet and Nova Pangaea Technologies have signed an agreement that will accelerate their ground-breaking Project Speedbird initiative to develop cost-effective sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for commercial use in the UK. As part of the agreement, British Airways’ parent company IAG, is investing in the project to support the next phase of development work that will help decarbonise the aviation industry. Aviva Pledges Extra Support To UK Charities Supporting Financial Wellbeing

In an effort to help tackle the financial pressures being brought on by the cost of living crisis, the Aviva Community Fund has launched an additional £2m funding to causes supporting financial wellbeing in their communities.
