National Philanthropic Trust UK distributed over £12 million in grants during Calendar Year 2022

The National Philanthropic Trust (NPT) UK, one of the leading providers of donor-advised funds (DAFs) in the UK, granted £12.2 million on behalf of its donors during Calendar Year 2022. This represents a 37% increase in the value of charitable grants from NPT UK donors to 2021, and almost a three-fold increase compared to 2020. Getir reaches one million meal donations

Getir, the pioneer of ultrafast grocery delivery, has recently reached a milestone of over one million donated meals from its gstores to local good causes through the Neighbourly platform.  The partnership, which has been running for a year, has now seen over 420,000 tonnes of food donated to over 330 good causes, like St Mungo’s Haringey Recovery Service in London, Wycombe Food Hub and Betel Birmingham. Tesco launches collaborative ready meal tray-to-tray initiative with Faerch Group

In an industry first, Tesco has begun recycling used plastic food trays back into packaging – creating a fully circular packaging solution for its range of core chilled ready meals.
