Greenpeace launches Arctic expedition to survey marine mammals in area targeted for deep sea mining

Arctic waters are one of the most fragile ecosystems in the world, rapidly undergoing environmental change due to pollution-fuelled climate damage. The Arctic mining area is punctuated by underwater mountains and deep sea ridges, offering rich habitat for foraging and migrating whales, among many other species. Vote now for The UK’s Favourite Charity Shop!

The second stage of The UK’s Favourite Charity Shop Award is now open. Members of the public will be voting for their favourite UK charity shop from a shortlist of 6  in each of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the English regions. Charity shop fans have until midnight on 23 September to vote for their favourite shop, with the winners from each region to be announced in the coming weeks. Rolls-Royce and easyJet to perform hydrogen testing at NASA’s Stennis Space Center

Rolls-Royce has announced it has broken ground on a truly unique engine test site to perform outdoor, full-scale gas turbine hydrogen testing. The development of the site and engine testing is in partnership with easyJet and will be located at NASA’s Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.
