Digital Poverty Alliance launches Tech4Youth in Cumbria to address the looming digital divide among young people

The Digital Poverty Alliance (DPA) has launched its expansion of their Tech4Youth programme to the Solway Coast in Cumbria, coinciding with End Digital Poverty Day. The Council for At-Risk Academics (Cara), a UK-based charity founded in 1933 to rescue academics at risk from persecution, violence, and conflict, has issued a critical warning, reporting a major surge in applications from academics in need of urgent support and rescue.
