The Carbon Trust calls for further endorsement and support of the COP29 Global Grids and Storage Pledge

The Carbon Trust calls on national governments, international institutions, financiers, and industry stakeholders to add their endorsement to the Global Grids Pledge announced at COP29 in Azerbaijan. This initiative, part of the Green Grids Initiative (GGI), aims to accelerate the development and modernisation of grid infrastructure to support the global transition to renewable energy. International migrants are vital force in the global labour market

International migrants continue to play a vital role in the global labour market, accounting for 4.7 per cent of the labour force in 2022, according to the latest report by the International Labour Organization (ILO).
