Applications Now Open For eBay For Charity’s Charity Connect Training Programme

For the third year running, eBay for Charity has announced the launch of its Charity Connect programme, a free course which offers charity retailers, of all sizes and experience on eBay, training to boost online revenues. The programme, which will help digitally upskill charities in order to increase their fundraising, runs for 12 weeks from January 2023.

Following two years of success, eBay for Charity hopes to help even more charities raise unrestricted funds. Charities who secure a place on the programme will receive tailored training through virtual 1:1 and group support sessions, webinars, e-learning materials and dedicated support on customer service and promoting their eBay shop Charities will also receive a complimentary one-year Shop subscription which offers promotional tools, shipping supplies and other perks.

eBay for Charity connects over 13,000 UK charities to supporters, providing a shop window to 138 million active buyers across the world. This helps charities raise vital funds to deliver essential campaigns and services for change.

In 2021, £38m was raised by the eBay UK community and, to date, over $1 billion has been raised globally through eBay for Charity, with over £230 million raised for UK charities since 2007.
