Carbonfund.org Foundation, a US leading non-profit organization offering simple, affordable ways to offset carbon emissions and support global tree-planting projects, launched its holidays giving “Plant Trees – Drive Free!” Sweepstakes, featuring a Tesla Model X Grand Prize!
To enter, simply make tree-planting donations through December 31st.
“We are giving away the Tesla Model X to one lucky winner as part of our “Plant Trees – Drive Free!” Sweepstakes because it is the world’s most environmentally clean car,” said Eric Carlson, President of Carbonfund.org Foundation. “Sweepstakes participants earn multiple entries by making $1/tree-planting donations, as holiday gifts or year-end giving, helping improve our environment while earning chances to win a Tesla!”
$10.00 donation plants 10 trees – earns 10 entries
$25.00 donation plants 25 trees – earns 35 entries
$50.00 donation plants 50 trees – earns 75 entries
$100.00 donation plants 100 trees – earns 200 entries
Trees are vitally important to humankind and the global environment as trees provide a wide range of ecosystem services including their ability to:
- Produce oxygen – without which life would not be possible;
- Absorb carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, to mitigate climate change;
- Improve local air and water quality by filtering pollutants;
- Restore biodiversity while providing habitat and nutrition for wildlife;
- Control flooding by minimizing runoff and topsoil loss;

Through this holidays and year-end giving sweepstakes, Carbonfund.org is raising awareness about energy efficient transportation methods, like driving a Tesla Model X, and promoting the new and improving technologies for electric vehicles.
One Grand Prize Winner will be randomly drawn and notified by email on or before January 10th, 2018.
