Ellen MacArthur Foundation launches new resource for businesses

The Ellen MacArthur Foundation has published a new Circular Economy Procurement Framework to help businesses make more circular purchasing choices.

The framework provides key principles and practical advice to help businesses build strategies for better growth. It can be used to guide procurement decisions within an organisation, engage suppliers in circular economy conversations, and build collaborative circular partnerships.

The guidelines provided in the framework can also be adapted by individual businesses, depending on their sector, industry, size, complexity, location, and other factors.

We will continue to add case studies to the framework, showcasing circular procurement in action, making it a living resource.

We would encourage all businesses — whether they are actively engaged in the circular economy or at the start of their circular economy journey — to explore the framework and share it with their procurement department.
