Premiere Foods announces Together for Short Lives as new Charity Partner

Aiming to raise £200,000 over a two year partnership Premiere Foods have announced Together for Short Lives as their new Charity Partner. Premiere Foods has twinned each of their sites with a local hospice to help provide much needed funds to ensure families in our communities are supported and have access to the very best care that is available.

To celebrate the start of this special partnership, Premier Foods has delivered food hampers to the children’s hospices we will be supporting which are filled with some of our cupboard essentials and sweet treat products to support hospice care workers and families during the COVID-19 pandemic.

David Wilkinson, HR & Communications Director for Premier Foods says: “Family time is precious and at Premier Foods we believe in bringing families together at mealtimes to make moments to treasure. No one knows more about the importance of family ‘together time’ than Together for Short Lives. We’ll be engaging colleagues across our whole business behind the partnership, supported by our network of Charity Champions who are responsible for vital fundraising and awareness initiatives. “

Andy Fletcher, Together for Short Lives CEO says: “We could not be more grateful to Premier Foods for choosing us as their charity partners for the next two years. It’s wonderful news for us to share at this difficult time. Children with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, and their families, need the support of their local children’s hospice now more than ever; so I’m thrilled that Premier Foods will help us make sure these families get the vital care and support they need today, tomorrow and into the future.”
