Sarah Hall embarks on CIPR Presidency with 2018 consultation

Sarah Hall Chart.PR, FCIPR has outlined her vision for a “dynamic, progressive and assertive CIPR” ahead of a consultation with members in the first week of her term as CIPR President.

Sarah succeeds 2017 President Jason MacKenzie Found.Chart.PR, FCIPR, while Emma Leech Found.Chart.PR, FCIPR becomes 2018 President-Elect.

Owner of a PR and marketing consultancy in the North East, Sarah is the founder of the #FuturePRoof community, dedicated to demonstrating the strategic value of public relations.

The CIPR’s 2018 Plan – published by Sarah earlier this week – is rooted in maximising public relations’ standing as a strategic management function. Members are encouraged to read the plan and share feedback with Sarah.

“It’s a privilege to lead the CIPR and my vision is for a dynamic, progressive and assertive organisation, which leads from the front, sets the agenda and promotes the value of public relations. We have an exciting twelve months and more ahead. 2018 is the CIPR’s 70th anniversary during which we get to recognise its distinguished history and celebrate its volunteers.

The CIPR will also take up new premises in a move that will reduce its overheads and allow us to deliver new products and services for members. I’m proud to lead the CIPR because I truly believe in all it stands for. I hope by the end of 2018, many more public relations practitioners see its relevance and value too.
