Europe’s first ‘wind power-built’ car park inaugurated

The new Niels Bohr car park in Lund was recently inaugurated, a building partly constructed from disused rotor blades from wind turbines. The building is the first of its kind in Europe and has a façade made from rotor blades from Vattenfall’s now decommissioned Nørre Økse Sø wind farm. “It’s a very smart idea and a really nice building,” says Anne Mette Traberg, Vattenfall’s Country Manager for Denmark. Global ad market prospects upgraded to 8.9% (US$1.19trn) but growth concentrated in Big Tech platforms

A new study from WARC, the experts in marketing effectiveness, has found that global advertising spend is now on course to close out 2025 with growth of 8.9% to $1.19trn, an upgrade of 1.5 percentage points (pp) from WARC’s September forecast due to strong results from Big Tech platforms and a muted impact on global trade from trade tariffs.   A further rise of 9.1% (+1.0pp since September) to $1.30trn is forecast next year, while growth of 7.9% (+0.8pp) in 2027 would push the market’s value to $1.40trn – a doubling in size since the pandemic and equivalent to $150 spent for every person alive today.  The new projections are included…

The Royal Academy of Music announces £30M donation

The Royal Academy of Music announce a transformational £30 million donation from philanthropist Mrs Aud Jebsen. This gift, the largest in our 203-year history and the biggest donation ever given to a conservatoire outside the USA, will be used to transform the Academy’s facilities. Octopus Energy and Rightmove power up greener living

The UK’s largest energy supplier and largest property platform have joined forces to make it easier for millions of home-movers to find greener homes. Green technology is becoming a bigger selling point in the housing market.
