£50million philanthropic fund to support translational science at the Crick

The Francis Crick Institute, supported by Cancer Research UK, has received the largest ever individual philanthropic pledge in the institute’s five-year history. Fundraising Regulator strengthens Fundraising Preference Service following independent review

New offshore wind research to help reach Net Zero energy goals

The Carbon Trust’s Offshore Wind Accelerator (OWA), a collaboration between nine offshore wind developers, is launching 16 new research and development (R&D) projects this year.
