In-line with its ongoing commitment to ‘use less and recycle more’, and ahead of National Recycle Week (September 23 – 29), Asda is announcing the move of its range of Extra Special Aberdeen Angus Steaks into recyclable cardboard trays. The removal of over two million black plastic trays across its entire Aberdeen Angus steak offering will see over 50 tonnes of plastic saved annually – with the price remaining unchanged – providing steak-loving households with quality steak at great value.
