Sixth EggTrack highlights global cage-free progress

More companies are making global cage-free egg commitments according to the sixth annual EggTrack report by Compassion in World Farming released on 16 November. The expansion of commitments beyond just regional policies to enable progress at a global scale is strongly encouraged by the charity, and in the past year alone more companies including Pizza Express, Yum! Brands and Bloomin’Brands have made new global cage-free commitments. Report Highlights Global Progress in Company Sourcing of Cage-Free Eggs Despite Impact of Pandemic on Food Supply Chains

Despite the impact of the COVID-19 crisis, companies and producers continue to make progress on their commitments to source only eggs from hens that are cage-free by 2026 or sooner, according to Compassion in World Farming’s annual EggTrack report.
