Humanitarian NGO Human Appeal has partnered with FareShare, the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste, to help families struggling with the cost of living crisis in the UK. Since March 2020 McCain Foods has donated the equivalent of 1 million meals to leading food charity FareShare which supports vulnerable people facing food insecurity throughout the UK. During this time, McCain Foods have supported over 3000 charities and community groups within the FareShare network who have benefitted from receiving McCain Foods surplus.
