Kingfisher team up with Shelter to lead fundraising drive for emergency helpline

The coronavirus pandemic has exacerbated issues of unfit housing, according to a new study by Kingfisher plc, the international home improvement company that includes B&Q. The report finds that some 9.5 million people in the UK (or 18%) live with significant housing issues. Kingfisher sets ambitious science-based targets to cut greenhouse gases

Kingfisher plc, the international home improvement company, has announced ambitious new targets to cut greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from its business, products and supply chains.  The targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), confirming that they align with the goal of the Paris Climate Agreement to keep global temperature rises below 2°C.
