Spark44 and MediaCom have secured the top prizes in Ocean Outdoor’s annual digital creative competition for bold out of home concepts created for Land Rover and the charity Rays of Sunshine. Ocean Outdoor creates city centre wildlife corridors across its out of home estate

Media owner Ocean Outdoor is rolling out a new land management plan which will see wildlife corridors and insect hotels introduced to its urban out of home estates in the UK and the Netherlands. In the UK, Ocean is working with the Wildlife Trusts having identified more than 30 existing advertising locations in seven cities including Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Southampton, London and Cardiff (new location) with parcels of land that can be rewilded. Schoolchildren code the adverts live on the world famous Piccadilly Lights

Pupils experimenting with code and technology livestreamed their adverts onto the world famous Piccadilly Lights in London on October 24. Supported by BT, the London school children used a coding app on a tablet to live stream their avatars directly onto the large format Piccadilly screen, changing the words and tinkering with the code in real time as their individual avatars took over the entire big display.
