To mark International Day of the Girl, Plan International Canada is collaborating with Twitter and the United Nations to launch a special #DayOfTheGirl emoji – representing the global movement for girls’ rights and equality. To create the emoji, Plan International Canada consulted with its Youth Advisory Council to select the final design, which symbolizes the power, resilience, and potential of girls worldwide.
