PRCA Board approves ‘more robust’ Public Affairs Code

The PRCA Board of Management has approved amendments to the PRCA Public Affairs Code. The amendments aim to provide more clarity around the employment of politicians and the use of privileged information. These changes were introduced following a consultation period during which members were invited to share their views on how the PRCA Public Affairs code was functioning and whether any changes should be made. Public Affairs Board announces unified Code following industry consultation

The Public Affairs Board has published a new, unified Public Affairs Code for the industry, following an industry-wide consultation. The Public Affairs Code and its independent Complaints, Determination, and Disciplinary Rules and Procedures will apply to all Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) members that conduct public affairs.
