Swedish energy supplier Vattenfall has signed up to the Sustainable Digital Infrastructure Alliance, whose mission is to move the global digital sector towards zero-emissions. Founded in late-2019, the SDIA is a non-profit entity that uniquely aligns energy suppliers, governments and industry to a mission of decarbonizing the global digital economy. Vattenfall announce new policy to speed up electrification of car fleet

Vattenfall and K3 enter partnership to improve sustainability

Energy company Vattenfall and Dutch land developer K3 have entered into a partnership for the purpose of developing solar farms that can be integrated into their surroundings. By joining forces, the companies are aiming to help make the Netherlands more sustainable. The solar farms are set to be built on land development locations owned by K3. Vattenfall and AG Barr sign renewable electricity agreement in the UK

Vattenfall has signed a 10-year electricity supply contract with the UK based soft drink and consumer goods company AG Barr. According to the corporate power purchase agreement (CPPA), Vattenfall will introduce 100% renewable electricity across AG Barr’s all sites in the UK. Vattenfall will supply AG Barr, manufacturer of leading soft drinks brands including IRN-BRU and Rubicon, with 22GWh electricity per year from Vattenfall’s wind farms in the UK – the equivalent used by 6000 UK homes annually.
