Zoom Video Communications, Inc. have announced a partnership with Together, a coalition that brings people together and bridges divides to build a more connected society.
One of the key campaigns of the year was #ChristmasTogether, which asked people to reach out to someone who might be feeling lonely, anxious, living alone or shielding over the festive period or sign up to support someone as a NHS Volunteer responder. The campaign has already been backed by the likes of the Archbishop of Canterbury, the UK Prime Minister and Hollywood Star Michael Sheen.
The partnership between Zoom and Together will continue into 2021 looking at potential new initiatives as well as how to fully support Together to help connect people across divides.
Phil Perry, Head of Zoom UK and Ireland said: “Without a doubt this has been an extraordinarily challenging year for everyone and our main focus throughout has been to help everyone stay connected and together. Together’s vision of wanting to combat loneliness and show the collective power we have as a community is very close to my heart and all Zoom employees. I am extremely proud to be able to partner with them now and into 2021.”
