The United Nations and Mattel, Inc., launched a collaboration at New York Headquarters today to introduce the Sustainable Development Goals to pre‑school audiences through the animated children’s series Thomas & Friends. Oxfam announces new Chief Executive

Dhananjayan Sriskandarajah will be the new Chief Executive of Oxfam GB, the international agency announced today. Sriskandarajah is currently Secretary General and CEO of CIVICUS, the Johannesburg-based global alliance of civil society organisations and activists with members in more than 180 countries. He joined CIVICUS in 2013 and was previously Director General of the Royal Commonwealth Society (2009-13). Chevrolet’s Call Me Out App Aims to Curb Risky Driving

Chevrolet is launching a new smartphone app called Call Me Out to help remind new and experienced drivers to keep their eyes on the road and put their phones down while they are driving. According to a recent Research Now survey, 84 percent of people admit that distracted driving while handling a phone is dangerous, yet 90 percent of drivers have done it.
