Ford Expands Climate Change Goals, Sets Target to Become Carbon Neutral By 2050

Ford Motor Company intends to achieve carbon neutrality globally by 2050, while setting interim targets to more urgently address climate change challenges. The company announced that ambition today as it issued its 21st annual Sustainability Report. Ford is the only full line U.S. automaker committed to doing its part to reduce CO2 emissions in line with the Paris Climate Agreement and working with California for stronger vehicle greenhouse gas standards. UK companies win both international prizes in Microsoft’s Female Founders Competition

Two female-founded companies in the UK will share millions of pounds in funding after winning the second Female Founders Competition coordinated by M12, Microsoft’s venture fund. Deployed, a London-based business that has created a productivity platform, and iLoF, an AI healthcare business from Oxford, have been named Global Winners of the Enterprise Software and Deeptech prizes, respectively.
