Robinsons ready to drink, Lipton Ice Tea and drench move to 100% recycled plastic bottles following Britvic’s £5M investment support in Esterform Packaging Ltd

This summer, Robinsons, Lipton Ice Tea and drench 500ml bottles are moving to 100% recycled plastic (rPET). The 500ml on-the-go bottles are the first to use recycled plastic from a new rPET manufacturing facility in North Yorkshire. The facility, built by Esterform Packaging Limited following Britvic’s £5m investment support in 2019, is powered by 100% renewable energy and provides Britvic with a secure supply of quality food-grade rPET in the UK. IFC Invests $4.9 Billion to Support Green and Inclusive Recovery from COVID-19 in Europe and Central Asia

To support a green and inclusive recovery from COVID-19 in Europe and Central Asia, IFC invested over $4.9 billion in the region in fiscal year 2021, which ended on June 30. Up from $3.1 billion last year this year’s commitment mobilized over $2 billion from other investors and focused on driving the region’s transition to clean and renewable energy while tackling climate change, boosting competitiveness and productivity, promoting inclusion, and expanding digital transformation and connectivity. Fossil free energy from Vattenfall enables reduced emissions in Orthex’s production

Vattenfall delivers 100 percent fossil free hydro power to Orthex´s factories in Sweden and Finland. This is an important part in Orthex´s ongoing sustainability work and goal to be carbon neutral in production by 2030.
