Mornings just got a latte better, as Sainsbury’s announces it has changed its entire coffee pod range from plastic to aluminium pods, allowing customers to recycle them at home. The new aluminium packaging means the range is now fully recyclable and will help to save over 10 million pieces of plastic each year. The change is across the whole Sainsbury’s coffee pod range, helping customers up and down the country to recycle more at home. Alibaba Cuts Carbon Footprint by 620,000t With Use Of Renewables

Alibaba Group said it had saved 619,944 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent in emissions across 12 months by tapping cleaner energy sources as it strives to hit its carbon neutrality target. That saving is on a par with the carbon dioxide generated by 12,915 U.S. households in a year, according to the platform company’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report published on Monday.
