Sainsbury’s has announced the launch of its new laundry liquid detergent packaging in all stores and online this week, designed to help customers reduce plastic at home. The new packaging will help to save around 22 tonnes of plastic annually. The change is across all own-brand 750ml laundry detergents*, replacing sleeved plastic bottle packaging with cardboard cartons.
