UNESCO and WMF join Forces to inventory the Jewish Heritage Worldwide

On the occasion of the reopening of WMF’s French office, in Paris – UNESCO is announcing the launch of a new partnership with WMF aimed to draw up an inventory of Jewish cultural heritage around the world. This project will involve the organization of international expert missions charged with mapping and assessing the condition of Jewish heritage sites and formulating recommendations to improve their preservation and management.  UNESCO and World Monuments Fund will also design an international travelling exhibition devoted to Jewish heritage sites inscribed on the World Heritage List.…

National Trust devotes record sum to historic buildings and collections conservation in 2022/23

The National Trust dedicated a record amount of funds to the conservation of historic buildings and collections in the last financial year, the charity’s latest Annual Report reveals. Gen Z putting their ‘dream jobs’ on hold

New research released today reveals that the younger generation do not feel able to chase their dream jobs, citing a lack of opportunity (36 per cent) as the number one obstacle.
